BAC Performing Arts Club Hosts a Dance Workshop for Korean Summer Camp Students

The BAC Performing Arts Club has organised several dance workshops for students, aiming to get them moving, and to inspire them to express themselves through this art form. They've delved into K-pop, urban dance, and hip-hop. You can read more about their previous workshops here!

This time, they hosted a special workshop, specifically for the Korean Summer Camp students! These students are on a month long exchange to UNIMY to build up their English skills. The workshop was led by Claudia Yap, the leader of the BeWILD dance crew, and the topic they delved into this time around was choreography.

Since most of the Korean students were beginners, Claudia first taught them basic movements to get them going. Once they had gotten the hang of those, she dove straight into the choreography. The song she had picked for the Korean students was 'No Guidance' by Chris Brown. Taking the song little by little, she taught them the choreography and practiced it with them.

The Korean students had an enjoyable time at the workshop, learning a new skill while also having some fun! The Performing Arts Club also had a blast with the Korean students, and together both groups got the chance to expand their horizons.
