UNIMY's Student Representative Council are huge believers of sportsmanship and healthy living. This spirit came through in their recent activity, a table tennis competition!
On 8th March 2024, students from all five colleges gathered in the Monsterfit studio to get their backspin on. After some leisurely warm-up sessions, participants were split according to gender and the brackets were decided.
Every participant gave their best shot, playing for the win while still having fun in the process. In between matches, participants took the time to get to know and bond with each other. Being from different colleges, they do not get the chance to interact on regular days, so this competition was a unique opportunity for them.
In the end the winners were declared. Prof Mohammad Kamal Mohd Rathi won under the male category, and Lam Siong Yaw won under the female category. These winners received a gift card to Decathlon as well as bragging rights among the table tennis aficionados on campus!
