Here's the BIG Picture
Do you believe everyone should have equal access to education, healthcare, justice, and opportunities to succeed? This principle, known as social justice, is rooted in a framework of human rights – and it inspires many of our law students to gain the skills and knowledge needed to advocate for the rights of others.
You’ll have the chance to engage directly with the law and develop practical legal skills via our clinical programme in partnership with organisations such as the SCALES Community Legal Centre. In this hands-on programme, you’ll work on real cases with real clients, gaining invaluable insights into the legal system. Additionally, you can enhance your critical thinking and reasoning skills through our internationally recognised mooting programme.
The Murdoch Bachelor of Laws meets the academic requirements set by the governing bodies of the legal profession in Western Australia. As with the rest of Australia, additional steps must be completed following university training to qualify for admission to legal practice in the State.
