IX Theatre "The Painter" Final Year Student Fund Raising

The Painter

Recently, IACT and IX Theatre had come together to host an exciting event titled "The Painter", which took place from June 24th to 26th, 2024. This was a collaborative effort by final-year students from IACT's Diploma in Graphic Design and Diploma in Marketing and Advertising programmes. The primary objective was to promote the final-year student exhibition while also raising funds, a portion of which was donated to the charitable organisation, Uplift.

"The Painter" served as the central theme for the event, putting at the forefront, creativity and artistic expression. The students demonstrated their talents and hard work through various activities designed to engage attendees and encourage contributions.

Fun Activities, Charity and Community

One of the main attractions was an escape room, which provided participants with a thrilling and interactive experience. Complementing this were an array of delicious pastries and drinks, alongside a fun-filled photobooth where attendees could capture memorable moments.

The event was held at the Gill Sans and Rockwell spaces on BAC grounds, and it was a fun atmosphere that perfectly fitted with the creative theme of "The Painter". In addition to showcasing the students' work, the fundraising event had a philanthropic angle.

Part of the funds raised was dedicated to Uplift, a charity known for its impactful initiatives aimed at improving lives. This combination of artistic celebration and community support highlighted the students' commitment to using their talents for broader societal benefit.

It was an amazing time as students got to showcase their work in a meaningful way as a final sendoff to their years of hard work, while also giving back to the community. It was a perfect blend of creativity and charitable efforts, and the students of Brickfields Asia College demonstrated their dedication to both their craft and the well-being of others.
