IACT Student Places in the Top 30 of the Adobe Certified Professional Championship 2022

Libelina Stephany Dwi Kadjio is an international student pursuing IACT College's Diploma in Graphic Design course. Hailing from Indonesia, she enjoys painting, sewing and watching movies in her free time.

When she found out about the ACP Championship from her lecturer, Ms. Elyena, she decided to take a chance on her skill and enter the competition. After being assigned a client, "HOPE Malaysia" and a tagline, "The Best Furkid Breed is Called Adopted", Stephany was able to get started.

"The first thing I had to do was submit an artwork, and they would choose 30 finalists out of one thousand people who entered. I actually submitted a vector drawing based on the question."

In a moment that took her completely by surprise, Adobe contacted Stephany one week before the second stage of the competition to invite her to attend a live test on 11th May 2022, from 9am to 5pm at UOW Malaysia KDU.

Because she was invited at the last minute, Stephany did not have much time to prepare. However, she rose to the challenge and produced another beautiful vector drawing based on the tagline "Every Furkid Has its Own Story."

"I met a lot of people at the live test, they were all so friendly!" Stephany added.

On 3rd June, 2022, the finalists, including Stephany, were invited for the Grand Finale at Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur, during which the winners were announced.

Stephany had nothing but appreciation for those who helped her get this far: "To IACT and Ms. Ely, thanks for accompanying me throughout the competition. I'd like to send lots of love!"

Stephany also had some words of encouragement for her fellow students aspiring for an achievement like hers.

"I always tell myself this; if you have a dream, go for it! Try your best to achieve it because anything is possible if you have the passion for it."

Stephany's achievement has made the BAC Education Group very proud, and we believe she can achieve great things as she continues to pursue her passion.
