Welcome, July and September Intake students!
With the entry of students from the new intake, what better way to welcome them than with a Fresher's Night? Although BAC has organised some enjoyable parties in the past, the Fresher's Night this time was all the rage, as there were over 300 attendees! To help ease all these new students into their new life in college, BAC Education organised a night for students to get to know each other in a relaxed environment and to get out of the classroom.
Starting off the night was some delicious dinner, which the students thoroughly enjoyed. The delectable food allowed the students to be well fed for the rest of the night, seeing as there was some big fun coming up!
The attendees that night were not only fed with good food, but good performances too! The BAC Performing Arts Club's band, BeYOND and dance crew, BeWILD dazzled the students with their performances of popular songs like Exes by Tate McRae an Die With a Smile by Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. One other performer that night was Fellista Muopana, a Year 2 UOL student who blew everyone away with her rendition of 明天,你好 (Hello, Tomorrow) by 牛奶咖啡 (Milk Coffee) and 海闊天空 (Boundless Oceans, Vast Skies) by 原唱 (Beyond).
Once the performances were over, that's when the highlight of the night began: the dance floor! Students gathered in the front of the Banquet Hall, ready to dance their hearts out. BAC's very own DJ Josh created a wonderful atmosphere for students to release stress and have a night of fun and dancing. In fact, it was so fun that students did not want to leave by the end of the night! If you're still not convinced, hear it directly from them:
"I really enjoyed myself on freshers night, the food was great in my opinion, I even took second and third helpings! Other than that, me and my friends screamed ourselves out to Taylor Swift. Overall, it was a great time!! Thanks so much to BAC for organizing this," said Summer Liew.
"I had a good time at Freshers Night. The DJ really knew how to keep the vibe going! Dancing with everyone was really fun, and the performances were good as well! Overall, it was just a fun and chill night," said Isabelle Pheny.
"Freshers' Night was truly unforgettable, but what made it special was the people I shared it with. With the right company, any experience can be a blast! Thank you BAC for providing us with such a memorable evening!" said Leong Qi Rui.
"I have to give it to BAC for hosting such an unforgettable evening filled with multiple agendas. From the food stations that varied in different fusions, to the local DJ and to the outstanding performances by the students themselves. It was indeed a night of camaraderie that is to be kept in my memory for years to come!" said Michelle Ruth.
"Freshers’ Night was a blast, playing the drums and being surrounded by friends made it an unforgettable experience filled with rhythm, laughter, and great memories." said Yoga Avaneesh.
