Cookies with a Cause : SANOVO and Reliance College Team Up for Community Impact

On 16th August 2024, SANOVO partnered with Reliance College to undertake a meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, blending team-building with a noble cause. The event, which took place at the state-of-the-art kitchen facility at Reliance College, saw SANOVO employees come together to bake 100 boxes of biscuits to be donated to an orphanage in Sentul.

Reliance College, known for its exceptional culinary programmes and top-notch facilities, provided the ideal setting for this charitable endeavour. The college's kitchen, equipped with the latest in baking technology, allowed SANOVO employees to experience a professional culinary environment. This collaboration not only highlighted Reliance College’s commitment to community engagement but also showcased its capacity to host large-scale events with ease and efficiency.

Guided by experienced chefs from Reliance College - Chef Muhammad Nur Hidayat Bin Mohd Salim, Chef Puon Swee Kent and Chef Nurainol Akma Binti Abdul Malik, SANOVO employees—many of whom were baking for the first time, embraced the challenge with enthusiasm. The day was filled with the aroma of freshly baked biscuits and the spirit of teamwork. The professional guidance provided by the chefs made the learning process enjoyable and effective, ensuring that each box of biscuits was a product of both skill and care.

This initiative was about more than just baking; it was an opportunity for SANOVO employees to bond outside of their usual work environment, working together towards a common goal. After hours of mixing, baking, and packaging, the 100 boxes of biscuits—each filled with five different types of treats—were ready for delivery.
