How long is the programme and when are the A Level Intakes in Malaysia?

At Brickfields Asia College (BAC) the GCE A Level programme typically lasts 1.5 years. We offer three intakes a year (January, March and September) with 10 subjects to choose from. Different study pathways are available to suit your needs and university admission timelines, so please contact us for further details.

How is the A Level examination structured, and how are we graded?

It is assessed by the University of Cambridge in two stages (AS Level - first half of the course and A2 Level - second half of the course)

However, the A Level qualification is awarded by Cambridge International Education (CIE).

What is the price of the A Level programme?

When are the A Level examinations held?

The Cambridge A Levels examinations take place twice a year, in May/June and October/November. You must register for your exams in January for the May/June session and in July for the October/November session.

How many A Level subjects do I need for university?

  • BAC’s UK Transfer Programmes in Business and Law require a minimum of two A Level passes
  • For entry into external universities, you typically need three A Level passes.
