UNIMY’s Bachelor of Computer Engineering (Hons) seamlessly blends the disciplines of computer science and electronics engineering, opening doors to a myriad of exciting career prospects in fields such as hardware design, software development, networking, and cybersecurity. You will delve into a comprehensive curriculum that spans key areas such as electrical theory, digital circuits, programming, data structures, software engineering, and computer networks.  

Accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) and recognized by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM), you will graduate as certified Graduate Engineers (GE), poised to ascend to the esteemed rank of Professional Engineers with the prestigious title of Ingenieur (Ir.). 

Course Entry Requirements

  • Pass A-Level with a minimum pass in two (2) subjects including Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry); or 
  • Pass Foundation or Matriculation in relevant fields awarded by HLI with a minimum CGPA of 2.00; or                        
  • Pass STPM or equivalent, with minimum grade C (GNMP 2.0) in two (2) subjects including Mathematics and Physics (or Chemistry); or 
  • Pass UEC with at least grade B in any 5 subjects including Mathematics and Physics; or 
  • Any equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian government.  

 English Requirements:  

  • SPM/IGCSE - Minimum Pass 
  • Any equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysian Government
