BAC Students Win Award in Paris
Congratulations to the first BAC team to participate in the 19th ICC Mediation Competition!
The ICC International Commercial Mediation Competition is a globally-renowned moot that hosts more than 100 mock mediation sessions over five days to find a champion. This competition gives students the opportunity to interact with some of the world’s top mediators while offering professionals the opportunity to engage and groom the next generation of mediators and mediation users.
In January, BAC sent a team to compete in the competition for the very first time, all the way to Paris! The two mooters were:
1. Elson Jesu Dass
2. Kevin Perakk Sike
Elson and Kevin had to go through a rigorous selection process to be among the 46 teams invited to participate in this mediation competition. This involved them writing interest statements on why they should be selected. They outshone many other applicants and made their way to the competition in Paris.
Their achievement didn't stop there. They mooted so well that they caught the attention of the judges and clinched the 'Distinction in Performance as First-Time Participants' award! An amazing achievement.
We, at BAC Education are extremely proud of our trailblazing students who built upon the prestige of BAC's name. We are confident that their hard work and dedication will lead them to great success in the future.
They are a shining example for future generations of students to emulate. We wish them the best as they continue to go far in their studies and career.
