A Day of Learning at the Sentul Zone School Counsellors Meeting and Showcase

On February 27 2025, the BAC Education Group and Rosewood International College proudly hosted the Sentul Zone School Counsellors Meeting and Showcase at the BAC Performance Arts Centre (BACPAC) at VSQ, PJ. This impactful gathering welcomed 53 dedicated school counsellors from across Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, for a day of learning, collaboration and inspiration.

Kicking Off with Interactive Learning

The event began at 11:00am with an engaging, hands-on workshop led by the dynamic Mr. Kumar, our esteemed master trainer. Focused on enhancing listening skills, the session provided school counsellors with practical tools to strengthen their communication with students. Lively discussions, real-world exercises and active participation made it an insightful and transformative experience.

Exploring Educational Pathways

Next, Mr. Sudesh Kumar from the Course Advisor team took the stage, offering a deep dive into the diverse academic pathways available through the BAC Education Group. His presentation highlighted the many opportunities students can explore to shape their futures.

Adding to the excitement, Steve Lim from Rosewood International College followed with an introduction to Rosewood’s specialised programmes, equipping counsellors with valuable insights into another top-tier educational institution.

A Touch of Fun: Pop Quiz and Prizes

What’s an event without a little friendly competition? Mr. Kumar returned to energise the room with a lively Pop Quiz and Prize-Giving session. Counsellors enthusiastically put their knowledge to the test, making for a fun, interactive and engaging mid-day highlight.

Networking Over Lunch and A Tour of Excellence

Over a relaxing networking lunch, attendees had the chance to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build connections. This informal setting allowed for meaningful conversations that will undoubtedly strengthen the education landscape.

After lunch, Ms. Andrea from Course Advisor led counsellors on a guided campus tour, showcasing BAC’s cutting-edge facilities. From modern classrooms to industry-relevant learning spaces, the tour provided an up-close look at how BAC is redefining education with innovation and excellence.

Collaboration and Future Growth

The final segment of the day was the School Counsellors Meeting, where attendees gathered for discussions, knowledge-sharing and collaboration. This essential session provided a platform to address key challenges, explore best practices and reinforce the vital role of school counsellors in shaping student success.

By 5:00PM, the event came to a close, but the impact will continue long after. The Sentul Zone School Counsellors Meeting and Showcase was a resounding success, reinforcing the crucial partnerships between educational institutions and counsellors.
