BAC Bags the BrandLaureate Presidential Award for Best Brand in Education!
On Thursday, March 10th, Brickfields Asia College (BAC) was awarded the 2015 BrandLaureate Presidential Award for Best Brand in Education – Law. This milestone marks the fourth BrandLaureate Best Brands Award for BAC.
For BAC, this award is the fruition of a fantastic year that has seen it awarded the Global Business Outlook’s Best Education Brand in Malaysia (2015), the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Award for CSR Excellence in Malaysia (2015) in addition to the Sin Chew Business Excellence Award for Product & Service Excellence (2015), the Star Outstanding Business Awards for CSR and Best Brand (2015) and the SME Recognition Award for Best Overall SME (2015).
For BAC’s Chief Operations Officer, Aria Singham, the award is justification for the hard work put in by the college over the past year. He said: “I am so proud that we have received this award from BrandLaureate. In what has already been an exceptional year for the college, it is a true testament to our wonderful students and fantastic staff. It is a ringing endorsement of our commitment to provide exceptional support to our students in all areas. To be recognised by BrandLaureate is the icing on the cake for what has been an extraordinary academic year.” He went on to say, “Winning this award has raised our aspirations, encouraged us to take further risks, embrace innovation and ultimately enhance the student experience and improve success rates”.
The BrandLaureate Awards is the first regional brand awards that originated in Malaysia. This is the only branding award that has worldwide recognition. The award recognises the efforts and commitment of companies in promoting and developing their brand names. Recipients of BrandLaureate awards hail from all over the world. They include leading corporations and personalities such as Hillary Clinton, Nelson Mandela, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, Starbucks, AirAsia, DHL and Volkswagen.
