BAC Students “Schooled” by Beatboxing Sensation Shawn Lee
When students at Brickfields Asia College (BAC) recently signed up for a physics class, little did they realise that their boring guest “lecturer” would be none other than Malaysian beatboxing sensation, Shawn Lee, in disguise.
In a promotional video capturing the moment that has gone viral, Lee is seen entering a physics class disguised as a lecturer to teach “The Physics of Sound”. What seemingly begins as a mundane and boring lecture evolves into a beatboxing performance by Lee, to the amusement of a full class.
The video was part of a greater initiative to promote EduNation. Aimed at raising the bar of education in Malaysia, the EduNation project is one of the latest undertakings of BAC which provides free tuition, covering core subjects including maths, science, biology, chemistry and physics.
The EduNation system includes the use of thousands of videos, complemented by practice exercises, all incorporated into a social platform connecting students with their peers, teachers and volunteers. The free platform is designed to be accessible by any child desiring to learn and improve his or her knowledge and skill.
